Tips!

• Before you go: Fill up your tank and check weather and road conditions. 
• Watch sunset, sunrise, moonrise and the stars! 
• Book an early morning or evening tour or drive to Onizuka Center For International Astronomy Visitor Information Station (9,200 ft)
• Spend at least 30 minutes at the information station to get acclimated.
• Across the visitor station parking lot is a 15–minute trail; take it to get better views!
• You’ll need a 4×4 to drive to the summit (among other locations).
• Check the Visitor Information Station (MKVIS) for more info.
